Brand and Website Refresh
Bringing clarity and personality to Canopy’s digital experience by aligning visual language with real renter journeys.
The Problem
Outdated visuals, unclear user journeys, and deprioritised Canopy Grow product highlighted the need for a brand and website refresh.
The Solution
A clear journey for two key audiences: renters & letting agents.
Before
After
As a UX designer with a background in illustration, I saw an opportunity to bring more meaning and personality to the brand. I replaced generic stock visuals with custom illustrations that reflected real moments in the renting journey - from referencing to settling into a new home. The illustrations were designed to feel warm, modern, and approachable, helping both agents and renters connect with Canopy from the start.
We also restructured the website to clearly support our two key audiences: letting agents exploring our tech, and renters using Canopy for referencing and beyond. As part of that shift, we moved the Canopy Grow section into the renter journey, streamlining the homepage to better reflect the product’s current priorities. The result was a more focused and engaging experience — both visually and structurally.
